hi all ive just bought a new tv with built in freeview for my kids bedroom and just would like to know he currently has sky box in there and if i was to remove it could i run my tv freeview of my sky dish or will i have to get a freeview ariel thanks

i assume your in the uk,and by freeview you mean(digital terrestrial tv)that only works on an aeriel(if your in a weak signal area you will need a good aeriel and maybe a signal booster)if the tv has built in free sat then you could disconnect your sky box and attach the cable to the input on your tv and it would work.if you have a scart socket on the back of the new tv(and it should have one)you could leave the sky box there and attach it by scart to the tv(then your son would have digital terrestrial tv,if the built in freeview as you call it is dttv, and free sat at the flick of a switch,best of both worlds)good luck.
