Dunno if this will help but i friend of mines kinda bricked his wii, lik it froz the second the wii loaded. So he called nintendo and they told him to hold the + button instead of pressing A at the beginning before loading the wii menu. This loads the wii service mode and everything works except the msg board.
But my Wii doesn't even show the message bord and the bluetooth of Wiiremote doesn't even connect, could it work.
Oh, didnt know that the wiimote doesnt sync. Doubt it will work then cuz u need the wiimote, so i guess the service mode works in a semi brick.

Just send it to Nintendo..it's a full brick with no protection installed prior to brick.Menu screen is corrupted.

since it is not a harware problem they will just load the system menu firmware V4 and sent it back to you.. don't worry firmware 4.0 can be hack now. You don't even need Zelda to hack...
