Okay so I bricked my Hitachi 047 in jungle flasher due to not having the correct Key or something that had to do with the Key being invalid. So I ordered another Hitachi 047 off of Ebay.I should have ordered a BenQ anyway I messed up.What my problem is I used Firmware Toolbox 4.8 to do the Spoofing and once the spoof was complete, I tryed turning on the xbox and got One Flashing Red Light at the right bottom side ?Nothing on the screen only grey screen and one Red Flashing Light.Something went wrong? But when I rehooked up the xbox to my pc and turn on the xbox while connected to pc,Flashing Red light dissapears? So I then reflashed I drive back to restore mode and when xbox is connected to tv Flashing Red light is gone.I put in a dvd movie and movie works but games dont.Dont understand what went wrong?followed tutorial to the T and didnt work. Now Im kind of scared to try respoofing again. If I am inserting the wrong Key what happens?Because to be honest Im not sure If Im using the correct Key from old bricked drive?I flashed two hitachi 047 drives two years ago and I have original bins and keys for both, problem is I dont know which original bin and key gos with bricked drive?I think I might be using wrong bin and key? These Hitachi drives really stink.I cant read original firmware and key off bricked drive because its bricked. Can anyone please tell me what this one red flashing light means after attempted spoof.Any help please
The one flashing light means hardware failure. Try playing with it when its like that, turn it off and on and see if you get an error. Mine wouldn't give me an error for a while but finally did. Sounds like when your flashing it its reading a bad drive. Probably using the wrong key in my opinion...
Really, without flashing it again, I don't think you could remedy it or narrow it down any.
the one red light usally means it did not spoof properly,,do you still have the orig firmware from the first hitachi,,if so try to restore that firmware without spoofing it,,that could be your problem,,be very careful,,hitachis dont like to be flashed alot,,
When you flash your drive it pulls the firmware off of the drive and saves it. That is your original. What you flash it with is your iExtreme fw.
You should use firmware toolbox and tell it to restore orig firmware, Don't spoof the firmware. All you should have to do is load the firmware, and then go to tools and hit restore firmware. That was what he was saying.
Spoofing a hitachi as itself does the opposite and causes errors. if you are replacing a hitachi 47 with a hitachi47 just flash the key sector and dont spoof.
