friend is looking to buy one and i got a kreon drive about a year ago on ebay for like 35 bucks but now i cant find any anywhere besides one site and its like 60 bucks. is this how much they are going for now? anyone able to give me a good trusted site to get one from?

I got my SH-D163B from Ebay a few weeks ago from a guy in California. I wasn't comfortable with the ones in South Korea that say they can take half a month to arrive. Paid around $50.00 shipped.
Came in a matter of about 2 or 3 days. Works great.

ok found bunch on ebay. i was trying on ebay but was typing in kreon drive needed type SH-D163B. how hard is it to flash what ever firmware you need on them to rip games? i didnt have to with one i got on ebay while back but all these look like you need to.

you shouldnt have to flash them, almost all come preflashed. but its simple to do, just install the drive like you normally would in your pc, and download the kreon FW pack, and it has a little program that will upgrade the FW to kreon, and then you are good to go.
