there is no FTA firmware for that box any firmware that you get will still be able to turn the emulator on so you are out of luck on this

thanks for the info guys.
The reason i wanted the old version was to return the Box t to its origional s/w so maybe I can get the channel bin,
after that i was hoping to add this bin file to ver 3.3 to get the channel nos to go with the names and maybe the numbers back on the
display.

it wont matter what you do the reason you have the numbers wrong on your box is down to you cable make sure you are in the main room of the house where the downconverter power unit is and scan from there and if you have a splitter on it take it off

Make sure you do a factory reset first turn the box off at the back then back on then scan

Thanks fergusrb
I have tried a reset a few times but everything comes back on.
On the display 85.20 comes up and no numbers with the channel
names ?? .
1 box with ver 3.2 without flashing has all the numbers and names
so I know that this will not AU so nothing wrong with the aerial
?? any new ver to 3.3

thanks again for that.
great to have the both versions on file, just in case i have to go right back to the start.
I could not find that one (ver 3200) before.
i think reading the info on other treads i flashed the box then when I turned it on and went straight into the cas system and turned the emu
on before doing a auto scan first then turning the emu on.
you learn by mistakes :-)

I`m new to this chat rm stuff but getting hooked on it.
will let you know the out come.
will also send you a pm

when you say flash first does this mean when connected to the pc that the box is not turned on ?? when flashing.
also their is not enough power to run the aerial when you turn on the
aerial power so that is why you get a power 24v supply with downconverter this with the Probe type aerial not mesh.

you connect the cable from your pc to the box and power on the box and put it in standby then press the download button when it is flashing you will see the progress bar going up leave it till the box actually reboots by itself before touching anything then after it has finished you connect it to your cable for you tv go to the menu and installation in there you will see antenna power turn that on then do your scan then when you have all the channels exit out then back to the menu system info then press 1004 on the remote key pad and turn on the EMU and thats it finished

will follow that to the letter thanks.
will give this ago as soon as i can and give you up date
thanks again to you both.
p.s.
Just off the phone with F/in law glad to hear that i can take his ver 3100 off his box as the new disclaimer says any box faulty (under guarantee) cannot be returned if updated or any s/w newer than one supplied on the box.
I presume ver 3100 is what the factory set them with.

you cannot take firmware off a box its on only put it on to it when you flash a new file on to the box it overwrites the other one

but when a box is new and you get it you cannot take that file off it only overwrite it only nothing more

only for uploading the channel file from your box to your pc

dont recommend doing this because they are always changing the freq on channels so a waste of time to me

I had tried this on a digibox t running ver3200 to get the channel names and numbers but when connected and selected that button no bin
file was seen in the bar but showed the file where i had the ver 3300
in that folder on the desktop.

yes as long as the channels are on your box but just remember they might not be compatible with the new firmware that is what you have to look out for as every time you put new firmware on its always best to factory reset the box and rescan in again

HI GUYS
TRIED THE FLASH on the box today all downloaded but the digivox t did not find any channels, it will not scan the probe type aerial only
searching all the lower end freq`s and then stops .
only way is to input the freq`s/Man, and the same display comes up.
will try and take the channel file from ver 3200 which works fine
with channel names and numbers and upload them to the one with ver 3300
