Im new with this im triying to connect my pc to the xbox i have flas fxp install and evox on my xbox and i already whent in view and check ftp. And i whent to quick connect there i put my xbox ip that i found on my xbox settings and the password xbox and user name xbox but i cant connect can some 1 help me with this!!

check your cables. alot of people get confused with getting the ip its the one were u cant change dont
i have not used static ip but i have a router im still kindive a newbi at this so try it

try to check your if your pc already has an internal ip. also try to reboot your unit. anyway, check out this link to see if you missed anything:

step 1
On xbox goto system utils > settings > network

step 2
change settings to
setup network : yes
use static IP : yes
ip : 192.168.0.3
subnetmask : 255.255.255.0
default gateway : 192.168.0.1
DNS 0.0.0.0
DNS 0.0.0.0

STEP 3
on your PC
WIN 95/98/me
right click *my network places* select *properties* then double click *internet protocol (TCP/IP)* then select *use following ip address*
WIN XP
right click *my network places* select *properties* then right click *local area connection* select *properties* then double click *internet protocol (TCP/IP)* then select *use following ip address*

step 4
now insert following
IP address : 192.168.0.1
Subnetmask : 255.255.255.0
default gateway : 192.168.0.1

when you have done this confirm all windows and restart your pc if necessary

step 5
connect your network cable (crossover if direct pc > xbox)

step 6
start flash fxp
make a new connection
insert following
IP 192.168.0.3
USERNAME : xbox
PASSWORD : xbox (if still default)
click connect

* make sure your xbox doesn't have a disc in its drive.
** crossover cable should look the same at both ends except the greens and oranges should be reversed.

did u get evox installed?
u said u did not have a disk in there unlese u got slayer u need to get evox cd for networking and then save evox on hard drive so get evox keep the cd in while u network p.s i would not give ips an stuff around
