Another Newbie - DVD-R writing problems

Hello all

I bought my first DVD-R pack from dabs.com - (unbranded dabs ones).

I use an LG drive - and they write all ok, but will not read in any other DVD-Rom drive.

Has anyone else had thsi problem? Is it down to the media being low quality?

Hope someone can advise before I write more discs that can only be read in the drive that created them

This looks like an issue of bad media to me.
Try to burn a disc with the same setups but using a good media disc, like Verbatim or Ritek G04, and try those in the other players as well to see if they work.
