Alright, I've scoured the board and found many others with my plight. However, none of the responses I read, clicked links etc didn't seem to help much. So I figured now was a good time as any seek help.

First off, things I DID do.
-Read larryljes guide
-used the 'official firmware' section
-got a Pandora battery (fully charged)

Now, what the problem is...
-I can't get the Pandora battery to do...well, anything. The charge light is green but nothing happens. Maybe it's something to do with the motherboard that I've heard so much about? Does anyone have a way to check this perhaps? My firmware is 3.95 and my psp is a slim...If it helps you help me.

I'm sorry if this exact problem is on this board...It's completely possible that I missed it.

well their are two kinds of phat PSP batterys. the old done which u can turn into a pandora battery and the new one that you cant. if u have the old ur okay, if u have the new ur sorta screwed. if u have the old, then the reason that its not chargeing is when u cut that little prong with whatever u usewd there is a chance that u scraped something a damaged it. if thats the case, it will NEVER recharge. just get a new battery to play games with, because a pandora battery cant be used for gaming. hope this helps!!

http://www.focalprice.com/1200mAh_Pandor...P059W_7922.html this battery will work as a normal/pandora and you can switch back and forth from one setting to another via a touch of a button (no modding required

hmmmmmm...very interesting. but for some reason i like to do things the hard way. because if you always have people do stuff for you, you will never learn how to do things on your own. for example my dad owns a plumbing business and i would watch what he does, and now i can fix the pipes in my house by myself, so that i don't have to hire someone to do it. oops. a little off topic there. sorry.
