Well if I pulled the codes right looks like ram is over heating. I attempted to put new artic silver on with the same result. What's next to do?

i like mine better, would be more entertaining. esp with about 10-20 of them stuffed in it. but you might want to keep the dvd drive, never know when youre going to need one.

I assume the smart ass comment because you think I didn't search? I know what the error is. 0013 is a ram over heat issue and 99% of the time is a cold soder joint. Was hoping on a better answer than this one.

No, I know you searched. You are wise enough to know to do this rather than posting stuff that's been answered a million times already. I just want to see a 360 get blown up and I don't have one to blow up right now.
However, going along with ps2's advice, might want to cut out the back metal shroud to increase air flow.

Hey Wabashman, I am probably gonna get a new xbox in a couple weeks, when I do, I'll video blowing mine up so you can see, :-). And I will be taking the drive out, lol.
...I just have to drive to South Carolina to buy some decent fireworks, I live in NC so I can't buy anything good. unless you want to see it full of the snap pops, I'll throw it on the ground, lol. But def. no M-80's, even if I could find some, don't think I'd want to buy them. but I will look for some good explosives to give it a good bang.

I'm in Augusta Ga which is like 10 minutes away from SC. I could buy the fireworks and we could blow that MF sky high.

@ wabashman, Don't know if your in the US or not, but M-80's are 100% ILLEGAL here. And they carry a pretty hefty fine if you manage to find them and buy them. Most of the time you can only get them from either people you know really well at fireworks stores, or from people selling fireworks out of their trunks. And a lot of those guys are undercover cops busting people for buying M-80s.
I just checked, you live in Indiana, so I know you know they are illegal. lol. Last thing I need right now is to get it over M-80's. A guy in town got busted for them last summer, wasn't pretty.
Anything else that would give a good boom? I was thinking about the fireworks that shoot into the air, fuse a bunch of those together and tie the xbox to the ground, might be pretty
@ PS2Menace, I live about 2 hours away from Spartanburg, how far are you? I'd be willing to make a good day trip out of it to see a 360 get a well deserved funeral.

Yea I'm from the states. Central Indiana. Didn't realize they were illegal, guess I shouldn't mention names of whohas a few around here then.

Get some 20 gram co2 canisters and expell all the gas, take some black powder and fill the canister, get some slow burning fuse. Makes a really good boom.

They have been illegal since 1966. Some Child Safety Act. Real bummer since adults should be able to play with them if they want. But I'm sure there is something that will do the trick. If can't find one strong enough, We'll just have to find enough, :-)

I actually have a few of those co2 canisters around, keep them to make the occassional rocket. Suppose I can switch the matchheads for black powder...

Be sure to get pictures, if blowing up a 360 will be fun, a car has GOT to be better.
Still think I'll put some of those fireworks in it, just for the colors.

Hey PS2Menace, its about a 3 hour drive for me, but I'm game if you are, if your house is secluded enough(no cops would get called on us) we could blow it up there. Unless you know a good spot somewhere else.
As soon as I get the money, its definitely getting blown up. Just fixed it last night and graphics started messing up again tonight. Gotta get a new one. She's been good to me.

No don't talk about blowing his up as it's just a simple problem ram overheating. Talk about the one i have with rrod 0022 (was my friends) tried x-clamp, rubber to hold ram tight, overheating several times, blow that up instead lol.

Like I said, I am tired of keeping it running, so as soon as I get the money to buy a new one, probably a week or two(just started a new job) I will be getting it.
When I do, the old one is definitely gonna get it. We'll get together and give it a good farewell for sure. And we'd have to upload it to youtube, we couldn't deprive the world of it, :)
