Basically I have a pair of headphones that can use HDMI input, and a monitor that uses HDMI input.
Can I just plug an HDMI cable into my 360, use a splitter, and hook up the monitor and the headphones to the splitter?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated too.
The items in question are the Razer Barracuda HP-1, which has Analog or DVI input, and a monitor with VGA, DVI, and HDMI

i believe you're mistaken... the connector that resembles DVI is in fact not DVI... it's proprietary razer HD-DAI and is incompatible with DVI. apprently they include a warning to this effect with the packaging...
i would say your only option is analog audio coming from the 360...

Well I've been told that that cable receives audio from other sources, I'll have to look into it.
