Hi I have just purchased a 360 with a lite on drive, I have read lots of tutorials on how to flash it myself but have relised with the price of the ck3 tool and probe (or alike) and via card it will be cheaper to get someone else to flash it for me. But what is the likelihood of the fw needing updating, will it be cheaper in the long run to purchase the nescersary equipment and flash it myself.
absolutely do it yourself. new firware is due out in a week and a half. via cards are like 15 bucks, and if you can solder, theres a thread at the top of the page showing how to make your own extractor for cheap.
