After having a read of some posts about the new ix 1.6 what is coming out some time this month hopfuly i was just wondering if anyone konws what new games have this new wave 3 on them and how can u check what wave is in or on a xbox360 iso or a xbox360 game disc anyone know the answer to this

There's a thread listing wave 3 games on here somewhere. You can also tell by running the ISO through abgx360, which you can download for free here: -

You don't need iXtreme 1.6 to play wave 3 games BTW. You can use 1.51 which is already released. If you're doing your first flash or you're paying someone to do it, you may want to wait for 1.6 though.

Thanks m8 but its not my frist flash done a few now but reading some posts it says that with 1.5 it will not boot and it will be a bad thing to go on live with 1.5 with wave 3 so will they boot with 1.5 or not am geting differnt answers r is it just to do with xbox live

1.5 will not boot a backup of a wave 3 game unless you have altered the video file to match that of a wave2 game. in theory, this should send a huge flag to MS, but who knows if it does or not. to be as safe as possible, you should update to at least 1.51 or wait until the 14th and update to 1.6. then you will be able to 'safely' play online with unaltered wave 3 games.
