Some Setanta channel frequencies have changed.
The frequencies depend on your area.
When asking for help state your area.
This is only for the areas that have changed,not all areas have changed.
Aylesbury = 790.000
Belfast = 283.000
Glasgow = 347.000 (NTL)
Grimsby = 259.000
Huddersfield =539.000 (Telewest)
Huddersfield =755.000 (NTL)
Leeds = 547.000
Leicester = 355.000
London East= 234.750 C&W
Manchester = 354.000 Please Confirm
Northamptonshire 475.000
Nottingham = 235.000
Portsmouth = 338.000
Staffordshire 386.250
Stockport = 354.000
Teeside = 363.000
Wirral = 354.000
Feel free to post the Setanta frequency for your area
If your area is not here have a look at your channel list for
Bics 00 to 20 (BTV)

shouldnt the boxes update themselves when freq change?
mine does, does it depend on the box?
its better to want something and not have it,
then to have it and not want it...

yup they will, just add the frequency in your area, and just scan again, it will be in the list, i just done my scan yesterday got back setanta 1/2/sports news/golf, liverpool tv, aresnal tv, rangers t and celtic tv. Now i can watch IPL :)

Not In Dublin it won't, the problem here is new encryption.

looks like there aien't sorry mate, as the codes above are the ones that have changed in the U.K i have no clue about Dublin, if i find out ill tell ya.

keshwala i no you mean well but no amount of scanning will get the op his channels back,unless he has a kryptview,i suggest you do another google search this time try nagra 2-nagra 3,or better still try the search facility on the forum.

dont know how it works for you guys in Ireland, hopefully jef you get it working, im happy getting my channels back :) its bit lame how its much more harder for people living in Ireland to get the channels back... maybe a area thing?

Different country, different cable company,most of the premium channels have moved to nagra 2 in Ireland and will eventually move to nagra 3,there is a fix out for the kryptview box for the last 10-12 week's which can handle nagra 2,btw this topic has been all over the forum since march,I'm constantly amazed how people fail to spot it with the amount of repetitive threads posted about it.
