I want to copy some games from DVD to HDD and play -- SOLVED !!!

Ok do not flame me but i read @40 pages from this forum and i did not find a solution for my problem.
What i have:
xbox 360 jasper
hdd 120G
ixtreme 1.51
liteon drive
what i want is to copy some game from dvd into hdd and play
what i do: insert disk, press Y and copy to hdd. is a random copy from 0 to 75-80% and after this disk is unreadable.
what i try: 1)run with dvd to a friend and try same procedure and works flawless (difference is his drive is not a liteon drive)
2) try different game (i already finish a game but i try to install so .. disk is ok)
3) try other dvd pack
4) reflash my liteon drive (yes i flash the drive myself)
what to try: go with my hdd to friend and see if my hdd is not broken @!@!!@; but is system i see it fine and what i save (game save) is ok
question is: is any possibility from ixtreme 1.51 to have some bytes broken or i else ?
What is your opinion ?
Is someone else who have same problem ?

are you using verbatim media ?
did you verify the ISO with ABGX 360 gui before burning it ?
did you burn at 2.4x speed ?

yes verbatim media, checked with abgx, and burn at 4X (all dvd i have ar burned at 4X and working)

sounds like the dvd drive in your xbox is going bad. mine does the same thing.

just redump your key.bin, identify.bin, inquiry.bin, and dummy.bin, and flash them to a new drive.

pot tweak perhaps? burn at 2.4x instead of 4x?

He said it was "factory default" which to me means it's not modded. You can try clearing your cache on the HDD then try to install games. I forgot the code to clear your cache but if you google "clear xbox 360 cache" you will find it.

ok some questions:
- if i do not have my liteon dummy, enguiry, key, identify is any posibility to recover ?
- i have a backup from Ix 1.5 of all files but i have some issues:
is this ok ?

no one can tell me how i can see what version of ixtreme i have ?
hdd is not broken i was at my friend and i copy succesfuly a backup to it and at home i try same backup and did not work .... whan i arrive at office i will tell you what i try last night :)

SOLUTION
after i try to adjust the pot of liteon from 6 kohms to 3,7 (not all in 1 time ofc) i say to change the *bleep* sata cable and i put a new sata one in replace to that little crap from M$.
surprise i can copy all backup to hdd and is *bleep* working.... after that i put again the pot to 5,5 (last was 3,7) but some game don`t load and i put it to 4,8 and work flawless with all games.
