No, it's not for the Wii. The Wii cursor is part of the emulators layout. The Wii is not strong enough to process a DS game. Even if somebody did make a working DS emulator for the Wii, it would be lucky to run at 5 or 6 FPS.

Yep I have the same cursor on my PC. He's just running an emulator on his PC and recording it.

It wouldn?t be impossible to make a NDS emulator for the Wii, It also wouldn?t run at 5-6 fps the only reason one has not already been made is it would take a while because you would have to include the use of a microphone which the Wii has the but it difficult to incorporate. Just think about it at max the NDS operating speed is about 100mhz and the system menu on the Wii runs about 300mhz but the Wiis max is 766mhz so that leaves 466mhz on the Wii for an emulator to tap into that is four times what?s needed.

Gee by that logic, my PC with a dual 1.6Ghz processor should have no problem running a PS2 (400ish Mhz) emulator.....OH WAIT! It has tremendous problems, since it needs so much excess power to EMULATE the console (and all its PS2 specific hardware/software) because a PC isn't a PS2.

So yes the Wii would have quite a lot of trouble emulating a DS unless it has an insane amount of code optimization, which would take years and years, and probably won't happen. The microphone has nothing to do with it as it is a barely used feature.

There are so many more factors than processor speed to consider with emulation. Why do you think the N64 emulator is so slow? It's the same, if not weaker, than the DS (in terms of raw power) and has no microphone. By your logic it should be running no problem.

Get real.

To let you know if your a good programmer you can get the N64 emulator to run alot faster A friend and i have it running twice as fast as the current release of the emulator no we havn't released ares yet cause it runs twice as fast but crashes about three times as often and in fact my frind and i have gotten an nds rom to load on the wii but it wasn't a game it just showed hello world cause all we can get to even load is the hello world nds rom so no there will probably never be a NDS emulator but the abillity to is there and you could if you had good enough programmers.

And no we were not trying to make an NDS emulator we were porting the new version of No$gba which has nds support so we tried our best to port the intire package and then I thought lets try to run an NDS rom but wouldn't load then he found the simplest rom he could the hello world rom and tried it took 17 min and 57 secs but it did load so yes this confims the fps thing but we aren't persuing making an NDS emulator cause not enough people are interested.
