I'll try and be as detailed as possible. I've flashed a Benq before using my current rig, having picked up the SY-Via-150 card recommended for doing so via my chipset. Anywho, now I'm trying to learn to flash the liteon. I purchased the CK3 pro with probe, and have gotten to the point where I'm at least able to open and close the drive and such using it. I've connected the drive to my computer, but have been unable to get Jungleflasher (I tried Iprep as well, and had the same issue) to see the drive. I've tried various ports on both the card as well as my motherboard itself (the Asus P5Q pro), but as of now nothing seems to be helping. I've tried leaving the drive open different amounts, or turning it off/loading Jungleflasher in different orders and timing, but have been unable to get it to work. If any other details will help diagnose my issue I'll be happy to provide them, as I've tried to be as detailed as possible here. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much in advance for any and all assistance.
Sometimes the VIA driver can cause problems. To remove it:
1. Disable VIA card in Device Manager.
2. Go to C:/WINDOWS/system32/drivers and remove "viamraid.sys" or "vsmraid.sys".
3. Re-Enable VIA card in Device Manager.
4. Re-Boot PC.
5. Load up JF and see if you are able to detect the drive.
