SKY news/sports saying no sig today?

ANYONE know if these are latest victims in ireland to nagra 3? i in south and normal channels which have changed only say `scrambled or bad channel` but today sky news and sports is saying `no signal`???

check the freq it is on then look for other channels with the same freq and see if you can view them also if it says no signal that is a cable problem

you could always try deleting them and do a new scan on your box they could have moved the freq as they do

sky news on 394frq sky sports on 387 il try do full scan again ye? have to try keep sky sports news at least ha. thanks for help

i suggest you do a factory reset and then turn the box off for a moment then switch it back on then do your new scan NO SPLITTERS N CABLE WHEN SCANNING

hi guys, i also lost some channels but rescan and maybe a couple of times brings back all channels

I also had this problem last night.
It happeneed around 1.30 last night,
I went by sky sports news it was working then a couple of mins later it wasnt going, screen said awaiting code update then bad signal or scrambled channel came up.
Im missing sky sports 1 and a few of the movie channels.
It could be to do with the bad weather?
As i can get any channels at the moment not even just through the tv.
Ill do a factory reset and scan later and see how i get on.

if you have no Tv thru the tv then its either you been cut off or there is a problem with the cable in your area

I realise that, i had a signal this morning but with the winds here now its gone now altogether.
Ill wait untill later and see if they have come back and then see if the channells i was missing are back aswell.

menu config delete channels then go to menu installation user installation then press the red button to update the channels

make sure when you are scanning that you first did a full factory reset and turned the box off at the power then back on then do scan
make sure you have no SPLITTERS ON YOUR CABLE when scanning the box

menu config factory default password 0000 press ok then you will see in there you have a choice erase channels or factory reset choose factory reset pick 6887 if you are on ntl then let it do it then turn off the box when its finished then back on then
then if you have any splitters on your cable take them off
then next box you get start freq choose 150.000 finish at 419.000
then symbol rate 6887 for ntl and 6875 for chorus then press ok and then just leave it and it will scan the transponders first then it will stop then bring in the channels so just leave it ok

because 100% of a split cable is 50% so you are degrading your signal by up to 50% thats why you dont do it
