update your box to the V8.04 for a start then factory default your box then switch off at the back then do a new scan on box WITH NO SPLITTERS ON YOUR CABLE BEFORE SCAN
as fergus said reflash you box to auto update,that should fix it.any trouble come back to us.(but state your area where you live,and your provider)for all viewing,please as much info as possable,thanks.

software for the super box is a all in 1 loader no seperate bin file needed, just hit the download button wait till it gets to 100% let the box reboot then connect back to tv.

i think my problem is that my pc is not recognizing my pc- flash keeps failing?? am i supposed to have starview on? or off?[just plugged in2 mains] when flashing? is that right?
any ideas how 2 get pc 2 recognize starveiw??
get the combined V8.04 loader firmware put your box in standby and cable connected to both then press download you will see it working if you have the correct comport working on your pc if you are not using vista and your driver is loaded for your usb device
