Hi all
I am hoping that someone out there can help me.
I have a PSP 1003 running on CFW 5.00 M33-3 and a Sony 4GB memory stick.
I have formatted the card in the PSP giving me the ISO folder required to drop the games into (twice). I have changed the settings in the recovery mode to
CPU Clock XMB 300/150
CPU Clock Game 333/166
USB Device - Memory Stick
UMD ISO mode - Sony NP9660
ISO vidoe mount - None
Am running it on 1.50 Kernal
I have disabled everything in the advanced configuration
My ISO file all end in .iso and are a short title i.e. Fifa09.iso
I belive it is a genuine Sony memory card
The problem is it still shows 'No Games' when I go to the memory card. They are on there as the memory is taken up.
I am at a real loss now on what to do so if anyone out there can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Made a suggestion on your other post, but where did you get the iso's from.
If in the right format the PSP should see them, if they are not then they will be ignored, I have had this with films. The recovery menu changes will only effect the way it starts - not if it can see them or not.
Get a known good iso and try that

DOnt really know how I fixed it.
I left all the seetings as above in my first post. Deleted the games I had in the ISO folder and dropped in other one Call of Duty and it worked.
I belive it was all down to corrupt ISO files. I have tried a few new ones and they all work fine.

Hi Guys: I'm was running 3.71 M33-2 on my sons PSP for two years now when all of a sudden "there are no games". Decided to update to 5.00 M33-3 and used a new card after trying the old one, the PSP recognizes the games the first time I play it, then when I go back to it, "there are no games". I've reformatted the card numerous times, still the same thing. Any ideas would be welcomed. The ISO's are good, we've been playing them for two years.
Thanks

In my searches and speaking to my son, he put on the new game RockBand Unplugged, and I guess there having some problems with this ISO. It deletes the game dir from the memory stick. For some reason that gives you the message 'there are no games'.

Hi!
I had the same problem with regards to Rock Band Unplugged.. The thing is, the game deletes the PSP/GAME folder, thus showing the 'there is no games'. Basically, just put the GAME folder back to solve the problem.
To be able to play Rock Band iso without the same problem happening, just create a empty new.txt notepad file and put it in the GAME folder. This will prevent the GAME folder from being deleted.
Cheers!

This is just a lucky guess... But i think that game does it when you "modify" it. In guitar hero unplugged you can modify it three ways:
1.NO FAILURE
2.NO SOLOS
3.UNLOCK ALL SONGS.
And after modifying you can't save anymore and that's when it removes the game folder.
I had this same problem with some other game but that time i just formatted my memory stick and it created new folders.

No Rockband does it all the time (unmoddified as well) it is a known issue and you just need something in the game folder (anything) most forums have put a txt document as this takes up virtually no space but cures the problem

All I did about this was take the memory card and erase everything off of it. Then I took my other son's PSP memory card and copied all the folders and other data(besides games), put the old games back on and it worked!!
Thanks for the info!
Eph

I have 5.00 m33 with a magicgate 8gb stick. Everything worked, kids asked me to change games... I plugged usb into psp and connected. My computer says my 8gb stick only had 920kb but the psp showed 8gb still and all games were there. So I formatted the card using the psp and all games and music were gone, games>memory card showed 8gb but the computer still showed 920kb. (and yes I have the right drive it is the letter in the window that shows up on autoplay)
The only thing I can hope it can be is the battery is only at 16% and charging. I know when I updated I had to have it at 75% in order to update to 5.00. I have just wiped my computer and installed all new drivers. Perhaps the driver that connects the psp via USB is bad? I can hook up an mp3 player on that usb port and that usb wire.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I figured it out...the USB was disabled in the recovery menu... kids must have gotten into it somehow.

Thank you so mush guys. I was freaking out with this error. I thought that I would never play my psp again. Thnaks to you guy I could fixed it. I had no idea that the rock band unplugged was the error. I formated my psp and put it again, and so the same error came. So I tried to look for it on the internet and I, thank god, found this website. Thanks you so much. Now I will be able to play again. I thouhgt that it wasn't working because I entered on the internet yesterday, but the truth is that I played rock band all the day long and I turned off.
