I found this list on the net with the drives that can be flashed with kreon
SH-D162C (IDE)
*TS-H352C (IDE)
SH-D163A (SATA)
*TS-H353A (SATA)
SH-D162D (IDE)
*TS-H352D (IDE)
SH-D163B (SATA)
*TS-H353B (SATA)

Can anyone confirm that the HP TS-H353B can be flashed with kreon 1.0 and works?

the reason im asking is because I want to start backing up my games instead of downloading them, and this HP drive is cheap, only 20 bucks. but i just want to make sure it will work with the kreon firmware before i decide to buy it.

No need. Firmware release on the 14th will allow you to rip games. Just wait for 1.6

From the looks of this thread, I would say you could purchase the TS-H353B and flash it with Kreon firmware. The OP in that thread confirmed he flashed the drive with Kreon. Tigerdirect has them for 15$.

You could wait for ix1.6 and use your drive to rip games, but taking your 360 apart each time you want to copy a game doesn't sound like fun.

yeah i didnt feel like opening the 360 each time. but i did find a SH-D163B and ordered it so its on the way.
