Right basically i have been manually entering codes into my Eurovox max blue clone for about a year, no big deal

came home today to find my staffie had chewed my remote control and its no longer functional.

i went to argos and bought an all in one that works almost perfect, sadly it does not allow me too input the letters C, D, F

As im desperate to get my tv working again i went out and bought an rs323 cable and came home and done some reading.

i downloaded

EVMAX_BLUE_160408_CORE_140207

and

DNUPMAN,

I then hooked the ev upto the pc and followed the instructions

the screen on the eurovox changed to dnld and the pc finished up saying download succesful and the eurovox screen changed to 0000.

so i hooked the box back upto the tv and done a power scan, it found all the channels but after an HR its still telling me to wait, codes are updating,

i looked in the config menu and it says

s/w ver - 1.0 ssc4 feb 14th 2007
h/w ver - 2.0 feb 14th 2007

im pretty sure this is the same as it was before when i was doing manual updates,

so can anyone please shed some light on the situation.

very sorry as im sure this will have been covered before many many times.
