Ok, so I had 1.41 on my hitachi 46 model, used the ck3 to connect and jungle flasher to back up the key.bin and the ofw.bin, I even have a cfw.bin. Now what happened was, when I went to restore the drive to stock, jungleflasher freakin froze (of course) and had I had to restart my computer to get the program to resart. Now, my drive wont open and isnt being detected in windows. I have it hooked up through sata cable directly to the motherboards sata ports. Is there anything I can do to fix the drive?
JF will always flash a test sector to check out compatibility. If the flash is unstable, you should not continue.
Personally, Hitachi drives are JUNK. I would go ahead and get a BenQ drive and spoof your key to the BenQ. BenQ supports Bad Flash recovery so you won't ever brick a drive again.

you need to play around with the drivers on your pc, also try to reinstall the portio drivers.
i had same problem with a drive last weekend, i read the orig firmware and erased then jf froze and the drive was lost and would not reconize, i had to reinstall my via drivers then remove them again then reinstall portio drivers, ive done several drives this week after that with no problems.
after i redone the drivers everything was ago again.
Ok, so I got the benq, now I read somewhere that you cannot flash a benq with an intelchipset motherboard. Is this true? Do I need to get some kind of pci expansion sata card or something?
