having problems with new games such as GH metallica and Chronicles of Riddick.

XBC gets a pop up and says PFI sector error. i dont know how to over come this. ive burnt many succesful copies up until now. any ideas??

if your firmware isnt 1.51, most new games wont play.

so i can burn the game anyway despite what XBC tells me and it will work as long as i have updated firmware?

sorry, i think i misunderstood your first post. you do need 1.51 to play those games, but i think xbc is giving you an error because it doesnt know what wave 3 is. if your ripping a retai disk, just ignore that error.

I actually think this guy is trying to burn with XBC, not rip a game. Ripping a wave 3 game doesn't give an error with XBC, but because it doesn't know what Wave 3 is and does a check simmilar to agbx you get an error message when trying to burn with it.
Go get either clonecd or imgburn, there are enough tutorials on both even in this forum.
