why does the new kryptveiw work in dublin if there is no fix for nagra 3

Q.1 is there a firmware update for my eurovox max black?
Q.2why does the new kyrptveiw work if there is no fix for nagra3 yet?
Q.3 why are some people claiming they have codes that work and if they have where do we get them?
Ihave most channels except the s+y muves the adlt and some sport and some discovery channels.
my firmware is the 1/12/08,
and just in case iv searched for these answers in the forums but could not get them.

in irl all boxes going down on n*l and no fixes,krypt brought out a fix for n2 that is why it is working,codes dont work as it is not a code issue but an encryption change.
all the info has been posted before just read the posts for info.

when reading the threads of afterdawn addicts,like celtic fergus or scouser look at the bottom of their posts in their signature area click on eamos library(eko4shared)in there you will find all you need to update eurovox maxv.as far as i know the kryptview is only working on the remaining channels that are left that are stil nagra1 and nagra2(ntl has not fully switched over as yet,so we wont know if kryptview have cracked it untill complete switchover takes place)to find codes easily download a cable toolbar such as the bigmaq toolbar,when its downloaded install it on your pc,the toolbar should appear on top of the screen when you click on internet there after,then just click on the big key and search for your provider.(of course you will need to know how to enter them,but thats easy)we can help you here with that if you need help.hope this helps mate.

I know for a fact the new kyrpt is getting all the channels movies, sport, adult, etc.in dublin.
Ive been reading lots about the movies and sport, adult, etc going down because these channels are using nagra 3.
And that is why we still have all the other channels.
Am I now to beleive that were getting the channels we have because their on nagra 1 ,and the movies sport adult etc, are now on nagra 2,which means nagra 3 still has not arrived.

Channels can be broadcasted on multiple streams.
Currently, the movie, sports & adult channels are being broadcasted on Nagra 2 & Nagra 3 streams only - meaning that people with a Nagra 2/3 card can (and some other factors - such as if you are subscribed to them) view them but people with a Nagra 1 card cannot.
All other channels that your Eurovox can currently receive are being broadcast on Nagra 1, 2 & 3 streams. Your Eurovox can "decrypt" Nagra 1 streams. The Kryptview box is the only box currently exploiting the Nagra 2 stream.
To answer your questions:
1. No, there is no firmware update.
2. See above. The Kryptview box is exploiting a Nagravision 2 stream, all other boxes are exploiting a Nagravision 1 stream.
3. In regards to people claiming that they can get these channels back with "codes", they are almost definitly lying. Nagra 2 or 3 codes are the only codes that would get your box back working but your not going to find these anywhere and they could not be entered in to your box anyway.

it dont matter anyway if they do or dont they are still not going to get them to work no matter how many co** they get you can only see a set amount of them anyway the rest are not to be seen so anyone telling you they have them and they work in there boxes they are either on a different provider or they are in the Uk

Folk's, maybe someone else has already notified other Eurovox 5000 PVR owners but i left my box off for about a month when all channels went, around the time the new nthell cards came out but only last week i turned it back on, deleted all channels and started from scratch again, i now have every channel except, sky sports,movies, adult channel but i do have the PPV channel... that alone is ?21 per film... I am located in Dublin... please note that when you switch your box back on and all channels dont come up, please use the 5401 code and this will bring them back for you...

almost every person has the same channels as you have they have only lost the movies and the sport and adult ones same as you have and there is no way of bringing them back if you are on N** in dublin or some other areas supported by N** either
ps except for the starview 4 Usb they do not have them

the reason the KryptView has a fix and the rest dont is because it is better supported and the team are working in the background all the time and have done there homework unlike the other box manufacturers

think about this the starview eurovox were prob the best seller yeah ok i reckon demand dried up for these boxes so there making no money now we got kryptview which is prob selling a lot cos others are gone i reckon there will b a new box out soon from starview and eurovox that way they will make loads of cash again think about it if there not selling the old ones there not gonna bother giving us a fix for them easy way out is to do up a new box

what would be the point of bringing out a new box for nagra 2?when everyone know's nagra 3 is coming on stream very shortly bear in mind there is no fix anywhere as of yet for n3.

i would be very doubtful about new boxes from any other manufacture as they cannot fix the n2 problem what would be the point i bringing out a new box they still would not have a fix for it
i not sure you are aware but the kryptview is not a new box the box is out nearly 2 yrs now so nothing new about that box

not every one is an afterdawn addict ,so they may try and flash their box and find they cant,or struggle to find software as they are newbies,or they have vista(not realy compatable)and leave us not forget we all started somewhere.if i advise a download of a tool bar its cos we aint left give codes(if we wont say ,try hare to find software or here try a toolbar,or try this,then call it a day(dont even bother)you all forgot where you came from(if i advise a tool bar its cos i want some one to have tv,and not be caught short)it seems karjid wants you to pay or at least struggle(so then why have these forums)no wonder so many people are leaving and trying other sites(its about helping people that dont know any better)and we give the best help we can(we aint all brains of ireland or britain)but a forum is about info and help(if you dont care or dont want to answer,dont critacise those who do)now im banned i assume(i just want all to have a chance not just those lucky to be here years or months or days)forum rules i know ,but by definition a forum is info(not bitchen by those in the know,but help by those who can.good luck my riends

best off not helping on co*** karljd is quite correct as when you start this then you have a flood of people on again looking for co*** which is not allowed if they want there box to work let them update them its not rocket science and not as if there is not lots of tutorials video help etc on the eko site
the forum is only after been cleaned up of all the co** beggers so lets try and keep it that way or else what will happen is the threads will be closed and all the valuable information will be lost

All that karljd was saying is that you can get all the fixes/keys/etc offered on the toolbar from other places that don't require you to install a toolbar, such as eamo's library. It's free, never for a moment would I assume that karljd was trying to get you to pay for something.
A forum is a place of information, and I don't see what your getting at - most of the threads here are people asking for help, and they are given help not criticized. As you can see you are not banned and I don't see why you would be.

Thats funny. I have spent hours on this site helping people flash their boxes, plus i learned how to flash my own box purely by reading up on this forum and following the excellent help from fergus and sc0ucer &co without starting stupid threads and posts with"giv us codes please",also the mods do not like you linking newbies to dodgy toobars,and why do you think i call them dodgy? well i suggest you do a little bit of research before shouting off in futher.And i do not have the power to ban you ,you go ahead and give your advice my friend and i'll give mine.

are u sure they are not manufactured by the same people ?
the remote from the replay lite is almost identical to the kryptview and the starveiw box has the same DVB logo on the front!

You can get any remote of the shelf to work, if you have the right components inside them, so that is what manufacturers do, they look at different remotes, and then make them work on there box, they can do this with any remote be it starview, replay, all it is is a case nothing more, the inside is made by them to suit their boxes.
