i need help on my psp a dns error

I am a noob i make a connection and try to get on it than it starts to obtain the ip adress but then it says an dns error as occurred.
and i do not know where or how to fix this i have tried and tried to beat this but i just cant i use one called Belkin_G_wireles_B9CFBB if that has aything to do with it and i have used others but it still does not work. And i have got on the internet but it is not really the internet but i did thing that had go on the internet like enableing wma thing and flashplayer and i went to playstation network and got stuff on it but it wont litme go on the internet it self. can yall help me?

Does your router have a password or use a proxy server?

If so just enter the passwords for them and it should work.

The connection name or the ssid if thats what your talking about has no password for the security setting.And what passwords, do i just make some up or what because i get some ones with security setting passwords and maybe i can use them but there signal is weak.
