Samsung Drive Already Flashed... Is It Unlocked?

I know this sounds dumb but since this is all new to me I'm reading up on the Jungle Flasher tutorial. It talks about unlocking your Samsung drive and all that at the start. If someone has already flashed my Sammy drive, does that mean it's already unlocked? If so, exactly which step should I skip to in order to update my firmware? From what I'm gathering... it used to be where in order to flash your drive, you had to go through dos prompts and all that (at least that's what the guy did to mine), is this a program where I simply plug my dvd drive into my pc and run the Jungle Flasher program or am I missing the point? Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm just a more visual person. If I physically saw someone do this, it'd be simple enough, when I read these tutorials, I second guess everything!

Honestly mate, Its all in the tut, step by step, don't miss anything out, you cannot go wrong. ohh no your DVD drive is not unlocked
