halo 3 ranked slayer problems....

I have a question regarding halo 3.... I was playing ranked slayer fine without any problems about a month ago and I wanted to get back on it this weekend but when I tried to set it up it said that one or more of the partys might not have all the maps, but I haven't deleted anything so I know all the maps are there. I also know that there are 2 new map packs, do I need both of them to be able to play ranked slayer again or what am I doing wrong? I've tried everything I can think of, re-downloaded the free maps, restarted my 360, loaded the maps in custom games whatever I could find in google I tried but there honestly isn't much on this topic so any help would gladly be appreciated.

Yes you will need the Mythical Map pack if you dont have it. If you dont have the Heroic map pack im not for sure how you were playing. I hope this helps some.

you do not need the mythical map pack, you do however need the heroic map pack, and i believe you need cold fusion. you also need the legendary map pack. sometimes it will say that even if you have them, let the server load for about 60 seconds while in the lobby and see if the status changes.

it seems like every time they release more maps it takes away another gametype for people that do not have the paid DLC. i think thats wrong to alienate players that cannot afford to buy new maps. They should have 2 playlists for people that dont have the maps and people that do. Ive been playing halo more lately but this makes me want to not play it if i am forced to pay for more maps. also it makes no sense to me how the game comes with so many levels and the free heroic maos but the playloists always use the same maps over and over again. ive played like 100 games and havent seen all the maps yet /lame

well I have the free maps which I believe one is the heroic and the other is the cold storage if not not mistaken. But I dont have the legendary or mythic map packs.....

that is so true!!! I was just telling my cuz the same thing cause we both have been trying to figure this out since friday night...

that is so true!!! I was just telling my cuz the same thing when Iwas trying to load the maps. I was like dude this map is old and I've never seen it or played on it... We both have been trying to figure this out since friday night...
