Hi guys have searched through forum for answers but htought i would ask anyway! i am just about to install a mod chip! I have downloaded game, have unzipped it and burned onto dvd using imgBurn (as this is what i do with xbox 360) is this the correct way to do it on the wii? Also what is the best speed to burn wii games? I am using Verbatim 4.7Gb DVD+R max 16X anyone help me please.

For all my games i generally burn at 2.4, it takes some time but ive never had any probs

I always recommend burning at half the rated speed of the media. So 8X should be fine with 16X media.

Burning to slow can be just as bad as burning to fast. So I believe best results usually fall in the middle.

Of course you will not get everyone to agree but all you can do is try different speeds till you find a speed that works best with your media.
