My sons xbox has recently developed the 'open tray/unplayable disc' error. is there a simple fix for this or does it have to go back to M$? any help/guidance much appreciated - cheers

I have a problem that is about the same, but a little different. I have an xbox360 w/ms28 dvdrom flashed with ix1.51. All my backups work flawlessly, and play fine all the time with verbatim dl's. I have one game on a memorex dl that works great (it was burned by a friend, I can't get my memorex's to work). My problem is, when I insert an original, i get the "Please insert into an xbox 360" error. It only does this with originals, but will play the backups all day long. Anyone with a similiar problem or solution? Thanks in advance.
Ah i see. On this occasion i've teleported it to the 360 forum, don't quite know why so many people post 360 topics in the old xbox forums. Maybe they don't realise there were xboxes before the 360 :p
