0110 Error Code After X-Clamp Fix

I have a three and a half year old xbox 360 which only got rrod about two months ago. It had error code 0102 so I did the x-clamp fix today and now I'm getting error code 0110 which means there is a cold solder issue with one of the ram chips. I obviously did something to the motherboard when performing the fix because my 360 would at least work for a while before but now won't work at all. I was a little rough when screwing the bolts into the heat sinks but they're a bitch to work with. I heard of the penny fix method of fixing this error but how reliable is it and how hard is it to do? Also, would over-tightening the heat sinks affect the ram at all or how might I have damaged the ram while performing the fix? Any answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

The only thing that can go wrong during this fix is more flexing of the motherboard which breaks more connections between the gpu/ram and motherboard.
The penny fix is also just a temporary fix and caused additional bending of the motherboard over time as it forces the back of the motherboard higher than it usually is, so you can use the trick until the 360 stops working again, the only permanent fix is getting it repaired by microsoft or getting a new one.. i know, kinda sucks
