Be sure to stop by your local Gamestop or EB Games to pre-order Fight Night Round 4 or you can do so online by clicking here. Once you pre-order Fight Night Round 4 you will be given a Xbox Live or PlayStation Network code that can be redeemed to gain access to the demo.
I know a lot of people are pumped for this game. Just thought I would share the info.

thanks for the headsup but screw gamestop for doing this BS. and after UFC i could care less about FN4. i wasnt that impressed with FN3 anyway, easy achievements though LOL nutshot!
Ill still try this demo but it will be on the 4th or i will just get it off the net from someone that gets it early and uploads :)

I liked the career mode (or whatever it's called) in FNR2 more than 3. So not sure if I'll really like this. Yeah I know, multiplayer is a must for FNR but for games like this, I want a good career mode too.
My gold account is going to expire very soon and I don't feel like renewing it just yet. Will playing a burnt downloaded ISO of the demo get you the banhammer from M$ if you have an unmodded 360?

Yeah, demo is on the newsgroups. Burn it to a cd-rw, then go in your game library and select it from there.

No. This is a free release to the world, so why would you get banned?
well not free release yet i wouldnt say since gamestop is giving it out before it is available to the public at large. but i dont think MS cares, it probably just pisses off gamestop. But then if you are already a pirate downloading stuff i doubt gamestop was going to get any preorders from any pirates so yea it doesnt matter.

My buddy went there looking for a controller and they were trying to talk him into buying a game. His response was "I don't need to buy games anymore". The look on their face was priceless...

Well normally you get banned for playing non-stealthed back up copies of retail games on your 360. So it wouldn't be a stretch to think we could get banned playing a burnt copy of a retail demo disc. I want to make sure that I'm 100% safe playing a burnt ISO of this. If I'm risking a banhammer, I wouldn't mind waiting until the 4th.

can't blame you there, just wouldn't make sense on a demo since you can simply download it. If you want to be safe, just download it from xbox live.

I know it can play on an unmodded console. But with the demos floating around online, doesn't M$ detect if you are using a back-up disc (unless you stealth it) instead of the authentic 360 disc used by GameStop?

The wouldnt give you a disk You would get a code to download The demo Then someone has hookd up there hdd got the files put them online. And theres Your Demo for Cd /Dvd

I just played the demo for 20 mins or so and I must say "HHHHMMM" ... I have been waiting for this game for about 2 yrs now and finally playing the demo made me relealise no game is worth getting excited over.
I am not impressed at all..TOO MUCH BLOOD AND SWEAT on every single punch , there is either seat or blood flying out.. also the sound of the punches sound so cheap and simple.. also the characters just look like plastic cartoons.. I much prefer FNR3 .. wish they improved the game based on FNR3 not create a game which looks too plasticy and shiney.. darn man.. all this wait..
Do you think they will improve by the release or is this pretty much it?

Ok, slightly off topic but i need some help.
I've downloaded the files for the FN4 demo. I've never burned a Xbox 360 demo before. I use an intel Macbook. The only burning software i have is toast 8 (i tried to burn a dvd in this and it said it couldn't burn CD-ROM XA audio tracks to DVD??) & disc utility (which i use for backing up my Wii iso's)
So can someone tell me what software i will need for Mac and the process to burn it to disc so it plays in my unmodded PAL xbox 360.

I think on Mac you can just burn the content folder as a data disc with either Toast or Disk Utility. "Content" should be on the root of the disc.

I played the RE5 demo on disc and nothing happened. I think since it is not actually like a real 360 game disc that you don't have anything to worry about.
