Some quick questions:

I currently have Ixtreme 1.41 on my console, when I did that flash the program everyone seemed to be using was Iprep, is Jungleflasher the new thing to use?

After a quick look over the Jungleflasher guide, it seems like it's as easy as hooking up my drive and clicking a button? (Not having to create a partition and run a dos program like with Iprep)

Thanks

Yes just follow the Jungle Flasher tutorial.

When you say 1.41, I assume you have a BenQ. With a BenQ, you don't have to restore the original firmware, you can overwrite the existing iXtreme firmware.

So are you saying with liteon and samsungs you have to restore you original firmware before you can reflash?

No, he's not. You don't have to restore to the original. I believe you are only forced to do that for the hitachi.

The others ones I just directly upgrade from one hacked version to the other.

Jungle Flasher 1.60 Beta, is now up and is the latest version. It has support for the 1.6 iXtreme. With 1.59, you had to manually spoof to target, instead of having it do it for ya.

I currently have 1.5 firmware, have on disk my dummy.bin etc files from prev upgrade.
Is it easy with the new jungleflasher just to load my orig key and extracted files then flash the new firmware 1.6?
