Hi, new to this so sorry if i posting this wrong place or something. I was verifying sacred 2 and battlestations pacific. When i use the abgx360 application, it says it failed to find .ini in online database. I look at abgx.net online database and both of these games are in there under xbox360 game database. I have the most up to date version of abgx360 1.0.1 with an up to date database for looking for the games. I don't know why they won't verify stealth check and autofix. any help greatly appreciated.

Grab one of the files from this site. It's the download for the abgx360 program. Also, you will want to download the 3rd Wave ISO on there as well, and it will have a txt file to tell you where to put it. Once that's done, then try verifying again.

Thank you both. I already had the third wave iso and it still failed. Where exactly did you find that list. I went to abgx.net and checked their text list by date. I don't see a link for the database on ABGX360.net. Sorry being such a newb, i really appreciate it.

Yes, i've seen him on there. I was on there trying to manually patch the game thinking the database was messed up. Thanks for the clarification. The database on ABGX.net is just a list of game release dates then? just clarifying everything. A little bit confusing.

yea so you can look up info like if there are errors/problems with a certain release and region info so you know what you are looking for and dont waste your time with the an incompatible backup.

Thank you so much stealth. I taught this stuff to myself, and thought i was good, but always someone that is better, right? lol Last question, i swear. Can i save that link in my favorites you gave to the database and when games are verified, will that same link update automatically and show me what is in there?

yes the newest additions are at the bottom always. you can compare media id too in order to make sure you have the same pressing that is in the database

Your settings aren't correct.

Check/Fix Video padding is pointless. Hold the mouse over the blue i next to it and read what it says. ("This does not affect stealth and is most definitely a waste of time.....")

If you are waiting until games verify before burning them, then there's no need to select "Check for AnyDVD style data corruption", because once the game is in the database, the CRC is checked anyway, which includes checking for AnyDVD style corruption. Checking that box forces it to check the CRC every time, so if you're constantly firing up abgx360 to check if a game verifies, you're going to be wasting a lot of time doing repeated CRC checks.

Also, you definitely want to uncheck "Look for verified files in the local folder only". Enabling that option disables the online retrieval of stealth files, because it's only looking in the local StealthFiles folder inside the abgx360 program directory.

With newer iXtreme firmwares, all you need to change when you install abgx360 is the autofix threshold which is best set at level 3. If you want to set your 360's region on the Misc tab, you can do that too, but you don't have to.

I do not mind waiting the time for those things. I did uncheck Look for verified files in the local folder only. So I guess by unchecking that I'm all good? I ran three games through it with the settings from above and they all game out green and good. Do I need to scan them again? And for splitvid I have it set to "leave it the way it is" is that good?
