I haven't done this. I plan on tomorrow. But just from the looks of it, get the tray in half status, then power cycle the drive. At that point the 0800 should be enabled and then Windows should pick it up.

Wow, that's a pain. Do you just pull the power or does the 360 need to be open?

I'm curious as to what is supposed to happen when you do this. The only thing I can get to happen is JungleFlasher shows it in vendor mode, but Windows doesn't do anything. Is Windows supposed to assign the dvd drive a drive letter or something? I don't even know exactly what I'm looking for... Does the chipset have anything to do with Windows not doing anything IF I successfully flashed the drive using the same computer?

i was able to get windows to detect the drive i power cycled it at first with the tray half open and nothing i then tried a reboot of my pc and then power cycled again with the tray half open and still nothing i then tried pressing eject to close the tray windows then picked it up and assighned a drive letter the only problem is that the current version of xbox backup creator doesnt work with it i get an error about 3% in to the rip about bieng in invalid partition or something
