Hi im still pretty new about the 360 "hardmods". Mine has cooling stuff out the ying yang . But my question is by changing your drives FW will i get banned ? Will i be able to play on live ? What are the consequences ? I want to know b4 i go thru with this . All your knollege would be appreciated . Thanks .

Hardmod's I don't know. I haven't heard anything about a hardmod in years. Soft seems to be the way to go. With flashing (softmod) there is a chance that you could get banned. I've been playing on live with my flashed 360 for over 3 years and never had any issues. I always update when a new FW is released. At the moment the consequences is just being banned. I don't see M$ doing anything more especially since most people that get banned buy another 360 rather quickly.

Just remember anytime you get on live with a flashed system you always take the chance of getting banned. It's a chance I'm willing to take.

I havent been real successful on findin a decent dual FW modchip . If i did however find one would that do the job and not get me banned ? Providing i took the safety measures to prevent banning

With any modification you will have some degree of risk. Having to solder turns me off to the modchip and the softmod is so easy. Key is to keep updated and you should have no problems.

i hear the samsung/benq drives are easiest ? mine says SAMSUNG/BENQ . so ya im not sure .

It took me 1 minute and 53 seconds to flash mine in DosFlash32. Not sure why I timed it, I guess I was just wanted something to do this morning at 3am.

The only thing flashing does is tell your drive you play a copied game. All original capabilities still remain.
