I am in the process of flashing my other xbox 360 from ixtreme 1.4.1 to 1.6 however I do not have any keys of the drive or OFW or anything all I have is the ixtreme 1.6 .bin firmware and JF 1.6
Please can you advise the process which I need to do to flash this drive.. I really dont want to mess it up! I understand I think you need to read the key and then save and then spoof etc.. but please can you explain the process.. many thanks
you need the original key that corresponds to your xbox 360 motherboard you say that you have ixtreme 1.4 on the drive that firmware should contain your key if it was the drive that was in your 360 you then need to connect that drive to your com and open jungleflasher unlock the drive and read the firmware first if you get a good dump then you can just spoof to target with ixtreme 1.6 as your target and proceed to flash

hhhmmm thanks for the response .. so first i need to connect then , click unlock the benq drive then i click on read and then save it right?
after this load it in the firmware and then the 1.6 in the traget firmware then spoof.. then back to the mtk32 tab and click on vendor , powercycle the drive and then write ? is this correct .. please advice .. thanks:)
Yeah you only need the orginial if you were spoofing a new drive. If your drive ever dies you're screwed though. Just use JF and 1.59 beta. Use firmwaretoolbox after you get it in mode b. and point it to the 1.6 firmware. It may say something like 777777777 in the key. Hit spoof to match the key, then simply hit write, and then outro and you're set.
thanks for your reply.. i will like to get the key incase i need to spoof another drive which is not the case at this moment.. however when i click the benq unlock it says sending magic keys and then error comes up "benq-un-lock returned with error" or something like this? i tried but keep getting the same error .. can anyone please help? thanks...

If it's already flashed, you can't get the orginial keys, so you're screwed there. I never use the unlock method. That's more for a bad flash. Just hit intro and see if it goes into B mode, you may need to power cycle the drive.

thanks.. well i have a ck3 pro kit so shall i just click the button to make the light red to go into mode b then write to it?

I would try powering it with a half open tray also you might want to try uninstalling ur via drivers sometimes that helps
