i am not sure. i flashed my benq with it just fine but for what you are talking about you may need to use jungleflasher

hey wait im a newb, i didn't mod my lite-on 1.51 on my own but is this saying you can just create a dvd to reflash it to this new update?

you use it with the computer it is a bootable disc and it runs thru the process step by step and saves the ofw for tou in the C harddrive in a folder that you specify.

Hi, this disk, do i have to make disk bootable, if so how, i am going to burn with imgburn but cannot see any option to do this, also what does it actually do, i have modded many hitachis using jf and firmware toolbox, is this as easy as just putting in pc and following prompts? Thanks

simply burn the iso with img burn. go to write mode and chose the iso as the file to burn instead of the dvd file that would normally be used with a game disc. set your pc to boot from cd in bios and then just boot the pc with the disc in the drive and follow the prompts. after you have burned the disc if you want to you can open in windows and see some tutorial info and such on where to find your sata port number which is required to use disc. Hitachi is not supported by this disc though. the boot files are hidden in the iso structure so dont worry if the disc doesnt look bootable when viewing the files, they are there.

Ok i have burned it, all works ok i think, put in my port number and all that, i dont have an xbox to flash at the min but is this instead of using jf or fwtoolbox?

Wsup i was trying to get hold of the modification disk but ive had no hope i downlaoded one off newzbin but it only came with a readme and a folder called files with pitcutres in it where can i get the iso from ? can some one send me a link for the download please thanks

its on xbins. when you burn to disc all you will see is the pics and the readme files. the bootable files are hidden within the iso and not visible

I'm going to give this bad boy a try tonight. I have two xbox's to flash and wanna see if I can get this to work. However I have had no luck with the previous 3 disk....

my benq flash went perfect with this version. i did have a problem with one of the previous versions not dumping my key but i just used the other version i had which worked fine.
i have flashed samsungs and benq with this disc. it says you can do liteon with it but i havent tried

hey munch101 look up easyxbins on google its in there!
Stealth, is this the only thing you need, just the disk and thats it, how do you know if it dumps my key or not, does it tell you, i have loaded it up, right upto where it says which drive you are going to flash but thats as far as i could go as i dont have an xbox to flash just yet?

yea it will show you the banks reading and then prepare the cfw and show the key to make sure it looks good. it saves all backup files also to your C drive in a folder you specify at the beginning.
you of course need a compatible sata to use and cdrom drive.

Yeh i have a sata card and a cd rom drive, i have flashed a few drives without really any problems, is this easier than jf to use?

well this disc is more automated and the unlocking is done the same so its a bit easier if you dont mind booting to a disc

What is,just download it and run it and it will give you 2 options xbox or xbox 360, its in the 360 folder!

i flashed my drive time back samsung ms25 to 1.4 but that was with the via sata card will i be able to flash my 360 using my current motherboard its a Abit Faitality nforce 650i sli

I had 1.51 preloaded on a liteon. I want to use this to load 1.6. It's my understanding that when the drive is spoofed you don't need the ck3 probe to dump the key for future updates. My question is when the dos prompt asks me to enter 1,2,3, or 4 for the com port, what do I enter? There is nothing hooked up to any com ports. The only cable that is hoooked up is the sata cable and I'm using the 360 to power the drive. Do I just ignore this part and type any number?
