can anyone help. i already softmod my wii but certain games wont work because of much needed updates(3.0u version) is there a way to update safely

all updates are safe it just disables your hack. Depending on which path you plan to upgrade it has different procedure.

search on the forum you should be able to get your answer.

3.0 to 3.4(use game to upgrade) or 3.0 to 4.0(network upgrade)

or you can just load the IOS for that game.

well i am sorry maybe i should have been more specific. i getting a blue screen with error #002 messege. when i try to play "mlb 2k9" should i let it upgrade even though my wii is softmod.

all you need is update the cios to rev9, rev10 or Rev 8 with 002 fix.
Search for CIOS rev9 thats the most stable.

it should do the trick maybe your Wii firware is too old so you might be missing some IOS update. Are you sure its REV9?

try this one:

another method is update to 3.4 using newer games then re load your HBC using bannerbomb or TP hack.

You can also network update to 4.0 and reload HBC using bannerbomb.

You can also google, there are other methods.

If your on cIOS36_rev9 you shouldn't be getting the #002 error message.

What loader are you using to boot the games?

You also have multiple threads going on this issue which is confusing as hell. I was wondering where my post went till I figured out you had 2 threads open.

You can try 1 of these gamma002fix loaders HERE.

My softmod pack/Guide I have HERE also has gamma002fix loader included.
