MY 360 has been working fine for years but yesterday i got the 1.6 update to play ufc, the 360 was fine all day but today i cant play 30 sec b4 my 360 freezes, is it the new firmware can any1 help me?

Firmware doesn't cause freezes. It's the fact that your 360 is on the "way out"
X-clamp fix can fix it temporarily but more than likely you will have to get a new one. Though try the x-clamp fix but be careful not to damage the motherboard. I tried the x-clamp fix on my broken console and ended up doing more damage and had to buy a new one.

U may be right my friend fixs 360 for a living and he told me this is the beginning steps of RROD, what i want to know is after he fixs the problem
1 will this happen again?
2 how long do i have b4 i must buy another 360
