heard from a buddy of mine that with any new games after resident evil 5 i cant make a backup for anymore. the guy isn't a good source for knowledge on this, or really anything else but wanted to makes sure. i just re-flashed my drive about two months ago with 1.50 or 1.51 i cant remember what it was but it was recent.

But I'm was talking about the UFC game coming out to my buddy and he started going on about how Microsoft is launching there new line of games that are suppose to be hack proof and i cant make backups anymore. first thing that pops in my head is i don't believe anyone who says that a company made it HACK/MOD proof, but there may be something to it so why I'm asking anyone who knows.

That's totally bullshit. Your buddy heard something about wave 3 and relied on some smattering he has. You can easily create backups of wave 3 games with XBC. By the way, the new wave was the only reason for iXtreme 1.51.

there is a new version of XBC on the way anyhow so any problems that are present will be taken care of. but i bleive the new version of XBC is mostly to support 1.6 0800 mode for all drives

That is false. You can make backup and if you have 1.51 or 1.6 you can play them stealthed. IF you have lower, you have to patch them which is unsafe to play on a box that you use live with, good chance for banning if you do that. You could just use imgburn to make an iso from the disc and then run it through ABGX and burn. Voila! :)

They added this update into the video partition on the disc, which of course makes the partition larger than it always has been on older games. All drives will need to be updated to 1.51 in order to play backups of new games!

you can get it through a torrent, just read comments on the torrent from other people to make sure your not downoading a virus. Just google it if you don't have a torrent site.
