Bannerbomb/HackMii fail...

So I downloaded BannerBomb and HackMii and followed the exact directions detailed here. The problem? I get to the point in the HackMii installation where the screen says it must always be distributed freely, and I don't get an option to continue. The Wii just resets. I tried this with different versions of BannerBomb, but I don't think that's the problem. Has anyone else had this problem, and how do you fix it?

Make sure your on Firmware 4.0 and make sure your Wii's serial number does not start with LU64/LU65...

Follow this guide for better results. It explains everything with greater detail.
