Hi,

I know that installing WAD's adds custom channels to the Wii menu, but is there a way of getting homebrew applications to appear on the main menu (ie without going thru homebrew channel)

Most applications have a WAD install file. Just do a little searching. You can also make your own if you know what your doing. So do a little research.
