ok it been like a week already. i bought major league baseball 2k9 and it wants to update my wii. i also downloaded the game/ backup the game. i keep getting error#002 blue screen. i m affraid of my wii getting brick after i update using the game. i have gottin all the new ios 38, 55, 53 etc... i done everything that older forum said to do to make this error go away. any help is well appreicated. is it safe to update with game i know older forums say dont ever update. (using sd card if for all if that helps)

you need to update the cios to rev9 or rev10 to fix the 002 error..

i have rev 9. which is ios36-64-v1042.wad is that correct? if so i have this installed already. now should i update using the game i dont have a network connect through my wii. if so will it brick my wii

No that is not correct.

ios36-64-v1042.wad is the Official IOS36 from Nintendo. You use that in combination with the cIOS36_rev9 installer to install cIOS36_rev9 which installs to IOS249 slot.

Do the below steps to install cIOS36_rev9 to your Wii...

Download cIOS36_rev9-Installer from HERE.

Create a new folder and call it rev9. Now extract the above downloaded file and copy cIOS36_rev9-Installer.dol to the rev9 folder. Rename cIOS36_rev9-Installer.dol to boot.dol and then transfer the rev9 folder to the apps folder on your SD Card so the HBC can boot the installer.

Now place ios36-64-v1042.wad at the root of the SD Card.

Start HBC and load the cIOS36_rev9 installer and choose WAD Install as the option.
