So far . i made 3 dvds , each with 5 Chapter in it .
On my dvd player-1 of them could read all 5 files, other 2 cant.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Tools
Winavi video converter v.8 -convert rmvb-dvd
Nero 6 Express -burn
----------------------------------------------------------------
This is what i did
I just started learning how to make dvds today. When i first started, i convert each eps 1 by 1 .and end up with 10 different Dvds (A). Then i try convert 5 at a time resulting 1 dvd(C). Then i burned (c)-no problem with it what so ever .COmputer/dvd could read all 5 eps. Then i Put the 5 seperate dvds together Aka (a).Basicly all the vts_XX_X vob/ifo/bup files and one of the Vts_Ts ifo/bup file.(Note-i rename them Ex. vts_01_0 to Vts_02_0).That disc came out Bad. Computer could only read one-dvd could onyl read one.
Then i went into (c) dvd , found out that there Vts_ts info/bup file was 10kb each-and the (A) one is only 8kb. SO then i decide to copy and paste those 2 file into (A) and See what happen . Computer could read all 5, dvd could only read 2? .
What should i do to make AWork!

You hit the nail on the head.. you can't rename the files once the dvd structure is built.

I think you will find life easier if you convert the rmvb files to a more friendly format before using a nice free application like dvd flick to make your dvd files and imgburn to burn your disks from the resulting .iso file .. you can check the .iso before burning with vlc player..

I can't find a free converter for rmvb.. they all want money, but I do know a freeware video converter which will handle .rm files (rename the .rmvb to .rm)

people have reported problems with the windoze version of the application.. I don't know about that.. the linux version works flawlessly.
