Wiigator backup loader not working

Hi installed the backup loader gammer 0.3 via this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/735325. I also did the oct 23rd fix. I have tried burning two games on tevion DVD+RW discs at 2x using image burn. However when I enter them into the wii and load backup loader I just get a black screen. I dont get an error message or anything just a black screen. Can anyone help please.

I had issues with backlaunchers until I updated the IOS to go with them. It was Cios36 V 10 that got it going. (Use network update) After that it worked fine. As far as how fast to burn them. I burned them all at 16x and never had any issues. They where all + media as well. They where Wal-Mart Memorex discs. I really dont know where it came up with having to burn at 4x and use only - media. Now I have the HD setup and no longer use backup loaders.

Just because you burn at 16x and use DVD+R media doesn't mean everyone else can.

It really depends on the media you use the burner you use and how sensitive your Wii DVD drive is to blank media.

The coders of backup launches themselves recommend DVD-R media over DVD+r or DVD+RW media.

This is because you have a better chance of everything working properly if you use Good quality DVD-R media and burn at an average speed (Not to slow and not to fast).

I have witnessed time and time again users having issues with their backups and when you recommend using good media burn with IMGBurn at 4X there issue usually go away.

Stop using the DVD+RW media and try DVD-R media.
