I loaded this up in WiiPatcher.class on my Mac and it's not listing any info. It just says, "Please choose a valid ISO file" like I hadn't chosen anything. Since this game is new, I'd like to remove any updaters. Would using a Windows patcher work?

i'd like to know the answer to this also. i have an original game disc of EA Sports Active (NTSC-U) on a J Wii. Updating is not an issue (already on 4.0J), but after selecting to "start game" i get a black screen. Do i need to patch the game with WiiFrii or some other patcher?

I tried it with Brickblocker on Windows and it seemed to patch it. You probably have to patch it to NTSC J with one of those programs to get it to work on your Japanese console. I'm going to test mine later with USB Loader and Gamma.

I have YAOSM 1.9 and have homebrew channel and let it update from the original PAL euro disk and no problems so far. I'll now make a copy to use in the machine (the whole reason for a mod ;) )
