hi guys,
have a eurovox tx and am looking to loop the signal round the house using an existing loop i have installed which has previously worked perfectly with other providers.
the way it worked on other boxs was to plug a male lead into the tv/video(loop) out connection on the box which sent that signal to an amplifier(in the attic) and lastly split the signal to other connections.
it wont do the same on the eurovox tx for some reason. i have even tried bringing another tv right beside the main tv where eurovox tx is and connected second tv to eurovox using 3ft lead via tv/video(loop) out connection but still cannot get scrambled channels i.e. movie channels on second tv.
does anyone know does the tv/video(loop) connection on the back of the eurovox tx send scrambled channels such as movies or is it limited to the unscrambled stuff like rte1 etc.
thanks in advance.

I would think that it would only be allowing the co-ax signal to pass through the box, rather than doing anything to unscramble the signal

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

The loop out on boxes is only used if you want to connect to another
box or in your case send the signal to several other rooms. In most
cases you can receive some fta channels if you do an automatic scan
on the tvs in those rooms. Also you can tune in your tvs in the other
rooms to receive the channel that you are watching on the box from
your main room.If you change the channel on the box all the other
tvs will follow suit. The only way to have independant viewing of
sky movies, sports etc in each room is have a signal and a box in each
room.

phil43 hi and thanks for the opinion.
i am not sure that your right though unless i am doing something seriously wrong.
i plugged a standard coax cable into the tv out on the back of the eurovox directly into a 2nd tv sitting directly beside the original tv and eurovox and did an auto scan but could not get the 2nd tv to display the same picture as the 1st tv. maybe i screwed it up.
any further advice you have will be well recieved and again, thanks for the opinion.

You could be right. It is a while since I used the TX box.I seem to remember now that there is only 1 coax output on that box while the
Digivox T has 2.Having said that did you try a manual scan on your second tv using UHF frequency.Worth a try.
