Yes you do have to change settings and use an alt_dol for Wii Sports Resort. As I said before do a search in the Wii section on how to do this. It has been answered numerous times.

It should be obvious.

It says...

WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A WII SERIAL THAT STARTS WITH LU64, LEH250 OR LAH113 AND ABOVE THEN DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUIDE!
You have a LEH129 serial. So is LEH129 before or after LEH250?

Make sure it is formated to FAT32. If you still have issues try another SD Card.

It is formatted fat32 and I have tried 2 cards now. Did I misunderstand, was I supposed to run patchmii and dvdx after downgrading IOS35? If I do then easy fix, if not then I am not sure what is wrong. The Wii freezes up and can only be reset by holding power for 5 sec.

No you don't run patchmii or DVDx.

Are these SDHC cards? If so try a non-sdhc card.

No they are micro SD cards that I have put into micro sd adapters. They have been used on my DS. They are not SDHC cards. Even though they are micro cards they should act the same way as SD cards shouldn't they? If not I will go out and get a sd loader and card. What do you think?

You need an SD card not a micro-sd card with adapter.

I went and got wiigator .3 and installed it, but every time I try to play a gamecube backup I get a green screen.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have tried 3 different backups.

I can play wii backups just fine. I use neogamma6 for those.

Larry, I have a brand new sd card with the apps, boot.elf, private, and wad files on it. It also had a file from the other sd card called installer.txt. I am still having troubles. It still freezes up when I am using wadmanager for IOS35. Any more ideas?

Thanks for trying mate, but still having same problem.

Formatted sd card to fat 32 and extracted files to it. (apps, wad, private and boot.elf)
Upgraded to 4.1, followed guide to install HBC. HBC now shows on wii channel. Open HBC and run downgradeIOS35. On the screen it counts 1-15 items and then scrolls through a bunch of text saying "Done" after each one. Then it brings me back to the screen that I started downgraedIOS35 from and I go to "exit". I run wad manager and click "A" at disclamer. On the next screen it is at IOS36, I change it to IOS35 and press "A". At this time the wii freezes at that screen and the wii remote turns off. The screen does not change at all when I press "A", just freezes. I am unable to do anything until I hold power button for 5 seconds and it resets. I have also noticed now, after reseting, that I cannot put in a disc as it says un able to read disc on the "normal disc channel". So the wii is usless at this point. I understand that I am doing this at my own risk, but there must be a way to fix this as all I have done is load the HBC.

If anyone has some input it would be great as I do not know where to go from here. Thanks in advance.

Try keeping WAD Manager at IOS36 instead of switching it to IOS35.

After I installed wad to IOS36 I started cIOS38_rev14:

I selected IOS36 instead of 35. I hope this was correct?
did network install and at the end of the install it said install error?

Should I have still used IOS35 for the IOS to use for instalation?
Where do I go from here, do I just continue or is something wrong?

Did WAD Manager install IOS35.wad fine?

If so then use IOS35 when running the cIOS38_rev14 Installer.

Yes wadmanager installed fine but when I use IOS35 when running cIOS38_rev14 installer, the wii freezes up again. When I tried it at IOS36, I got the message "instalition failed".
