Sure thing, that folder was there. Thanks alot!! I will see if it freezes later.. in a game atm. Thanks ;)
Also, maybe you can answer me this.. I did have the LU64+ wii. The mods, are they not guaranteed for any serial number above LU64 (like LU90) or just the Serials in the LU64 series? I am still kind of confused on this.. not that it really matters as I bricked it anyway and nintendo sent me a different one.

I have problem
Wii system version 4.1 with wiikey chip
I follow the instruction and instaled Wii Homebrew chanel
on step when i must to Downgrade IOS35:
i enter the HB chanel and see all the contents of the package but when i select it
noting happens.
I try to install the other packages but the result was the same.
What to do ?

yes you have to be on 4.1 for this softmod guide, you do not need the wiikey for this guide, this might be your prob

Your guide worked okay for me.Am using 4.1e no problem went thru neogamma using backup loader okay.
One question when using the IOS Downloader it sat on Inializing network - please wait 'for ages doing nothing'
tried and re-tried numerous times but the same.
Help reqd

Its strange problem becouse i have the HB changel but i can executre the apps in it.
i select load and noting happens

hi guys i have a problem i wonder if anyone here could help me... ok so i had the homebrew channel installed on my wii but it wasnt working probably so i deleted it off my wii to try and do the softmod on here but now nothing is coming up when i go to the sd card bit.. ive tried other soft mods but i cant get any of them to load on that page .. now i deleted it does this mean i can never get it again please someone help me

this guide you should follow load files on the sd card, on the wii go to system config wii channels sd card then put the sd card in and off you go.

My WII has a serial that starts with LEH271, What guide should I follow? Is its possible to softmod my wii at all?

Wold rather be a nerd then clueless.
The guide already tells you if you have a LEH250 or above system then don't use this guide.
The alternative LU64fix section says I do not know if it will work on LEH systems. So I got an idea. Do a little research and find out yourself if it will work or not. I get tired of members always coming here and saying Im new please spoon feed me then wipe my ass.
I had to search and learn myself using available threads and other forums to get where I am now. So you shouldn't expect it to be any different for yourself.

Old IT guy looking for a little help in the maze of Wii mods. After my dog chewed a couple of my kids games I've decided backups are in order. Reading through the maze of chips / softmods I'm vastly confused. My Wii has a serial # of LU51907xxxx. Can I softmod? I really don't want to have to get down to modifying at the chip level.
Be kind... I'm new to this subject.

Sorry to see this thread die but I can't blame you larrylje, just posting to say nice one! It worked for me a treat and any probs I just simply read your advice posts and all was sorted, you have done well taking all the crap you did mate, no need for it, gl in all you do in the future, thanks again dude, James.

wasn't that unnecessary? foolish of me to only have saved the link for this thread instead of copy+pasting the directions themselves. only made this account in hopes of finding sum1 who had the directions. please pm me them if you have them.
