Unable to Verify Left 4 Dead.. Please Help!

Hey Guys,
I got Left 4 Dead (Game of The Year Edition) from torrents and have been unable to verify it in ABGX.. It stealth patach and everything is all ok but verification is (yellow) which means not verifying..
Now This game has been out for some time.. so I really don't know why it isn't verifying. normally I don't burn and play unless all is green and verified .. but this one I have been trying fr weeks stil not verified?
Is it safe to burn and play online? Or shall I keep waiting for verification? or is there other ways of getting this verified?
I mean I can understand with a new game you wait for it to release then its verified but this is somwhat 8 months now I think? Please help!

Have you changed the patching to Level 3? Because that way it will try to patch it. And the ABGX Database is when they actually add the game to it. So just because a game has been on torrents forever, doesn't mean that they will add it!

The safest thing to do is to re-rip your original and then check the file using ABGX. I find that works best...

Yes it is on Level 3 (Autofix) but still not verifying?

What is not vertifying? All? Or only the online vertification? If it is only the online vertification it could be that your version of the game is not in the databases, almost none of my pal games check out online, but most of my region free do.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

yes its only the online verification.. I know that some do not go into the database.. I need answers and help and advice .. not people repeating what I already know..!
Is this a risk to play online or not? Is there other ways around it to get it verified?Thanks

try getting a different copy of the game.
There are plenty of versions on the net, and that one might not be verified.

i had this same problem when i backed up my original Guitar Hero World Tour disc, then i ran it on level 3 and auto fix kicked in, then I ran it through a second time on level 3 and abgx said everything checked out fine.

This is just not working for me guys.. please can someone help out? I mean I can probably donwload another version but this is the version I want and I have already downloaded it.. everything is all fine and "green" in ABGX but just not verification (yellow)

Ok, I got mine working just fine and you don't??? The previous posts tell you exactly what to do and you still can't figure it out??? And you call me a moron? Hmm??? I'd have to disagree with that one.. Put the ABGX on level 3 if that doesn't work then you need another copy of it. It just doesn't get any easier than that..

I use torrents.. which news groups do you use? I am not really familiar how news groups work.. could you please direct me to a good news group and give me an insight how the newsgroups work? Please pm me if you think its better to do so.. thanks

just google how to use newsgroups
seriously, there's been enough hand holding on this thread. Just put some effort. Google it, and read up about it. It's pretty similar to torrents, except you probably have to pay 15 bucks a month, but well worth it. When you read about it, you can find out why.
If you have any questions once you have done some research, you will see people are much more inclined to help you, then when you haven't put any effort into it.

I appreciate what your saying and I can assure you that I am not one of these people who want everything laid infront of them .. I did my research on newsgroups a little while back but as there are sooo many different ones I wasn't sure which one is the best? Could you reccomend any? I mean I heard of News Demon.. etc.. which do you prefer an if you don't mind me asking which one do you use? Thanks :)

I us astraweb, which works great, but so does giganews. I would recommend either of them as your server.
